Steve Sanders, wide receiver and founder of My H.O.O.D., understands the importance of dreaming big, staying focused and taking a STANCE against drugs, gangs and violence. - Star football player for East High School in Cleveland, Ohio
- Finished seventh all-time in Bowling Green State University (BGSU) history with 156 receptions and 2,324 receiving yards
- Finished fourth with 24 touchdown receptions and tenth with 25 touchdowns
- Named league MVP and caught 27 passes for 868 yards and 10 touchdowns
- All-league point guard and MVP at the all-city track meet
- Placed second in the 2001 Division I state track and field championships in the 300-meter hurdle
- Drafted in the UFL, United Football League
- Founder of My H.O.O.D. — Helping Others Organize Dreams — A program that promotes young men and women to dream, set goals and become empowered with tools that ensure achievement and success in their lives, as well as provide them with a vision of hope and success
